I contracted for several years in multiple industries including telecommunications and more recently healthcare. I worked for companies like Verizon, AT&T, and the Medical University of South Carolina. I enjoyed aspects from both fields such as the problem solving with engineers in telecommunications and the busy work of healthcare. I decided I wanted a career somewhere in between those two places and went back to school to get my master's degree in data science from Clemson University. At Clemson University my coursework consisted of advanced math, statistics, machine learning, and project management. Since graduating, I have completed projects to further my knowledge in areas that peak my interest including software development (full-stack), cloud computing, and natural language processing.
